RDP Session Not Saving RDG Credentials

RDP Session Not Saving RDG Credentials

avatar

I've set up a new RDP session to connect via a RDG server. The problem is that it seems we're unable to save changes to our RDMS server.

For example:

When I attempt to change:

When I go back in and look at the session, or try to connect, the changes are not saved.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello,

What version are you running?

Please press CTRL while you click on the refresh button to invalidate the cache. Does it show the last version you saved?

Good morning, Maurice.

RDM is 9.2.10.0. RDMS is 2.2.14.0.

Just tried holding down CTRL and refreshing but it did not change.

Hello,

User Specific settings only override when you select a credential, you cannot override with a blank value.

Can you confirm I have understood you correctly?

Thanks

Maurice,

I'm configuring the global settings for the session, not user-specific.

Thanks,

Hello,

The private vault is only available when going through the User Specific Settings, so I'll assume this occurs when you choose from credential repository

What do you see when you right-click on the entry and choose View-Entry History? If you do see an update, can you select the last two versions and press Compare to see the changes?

Sorry, I "mis-spoke." The option selected is "Use my personal credentials" OR "Use credential repository." When I make changes from either of those options I'm unable to save another option.

The history does not show any changes being made to the entry concerning RDG configuration.

strange, could you show the profiler before you edit the entry, then do you changes and try to save, we should see activity in the profiler window.
