Auto hide description or informatie pane

I want to hide the description screen when i open a session on the same way as the navigation pane.
The reason is that i want to see the description or informatie on the dashboard from a session and group without opening it.
An other solutuion is to show the embeded footer on the dashboard.
The same footer as you can enable in the session.
