I use Version 9.2.9.0 and try to use the protocol view to see which of my colleges uses a specific machine.
My problem:
If I select an entry in the dashboard the docked protocol view does not show anything.
I have to use the context menu - view - protocol to fill the docked protocol view with entries.
Shouldn't this be done automaticly?
On a second PC I shave seen a checkbox under the date-filter (last 7 days). This checkbox is not visible on my PC.
Is there an option for that somewhere?
Thank's for your help.
Hi,
I'm not sure to understand what you mean by protocol view? Could you post a print screen.
By the way I don't think it's related but you should install RDM 9.2.10.0

Sorry, than I translated it wrong.
Here is the screenshot. In german it is called 'Protokolle'.
You can see a marked machine but an empty detail pane below.
in english it's called Logs
r-click session - view - logs
Kind Regards

thank's but why isn't it refreshing automatically?
plz extend date from "letzen 7 Tage" to "letzten 90 Tage" and press refresh-key
for me it's working, but we use RDMS and you are using SQL, so maybe there is a difference in feature-set? ... Question@David ...

Hi,
I think I know the problem. It's because when you use the group dashboard, you can have the log for the group or the log for the selected entry. If Show group details is checked, you get the refresh for the group and not the selected entry. I've just reproduced the scenario and it works fine when you unchecked it.
Perhaps we could replace the checkbox with a combo called Context and in the combo you will have the choice between Group or Selection? Would it be easier to understand this way?

I'm not sure if I unterstand which checkbox you mean.
Is it that one I am missing? (Or do you see it in my screenshot?)
Or is that Show group details somewhere else (hidden in the options)?
Maybe you can help me with a screenshot too ;)
Hi,
I think that you might have to do a reset layout

Hi,
that worked for me. thank you.
Is it possible in footer logs to rearrange the columns?
I use this logs to determine which co-worker is already connected with a machine.
Therefor my favorite columns order is Date-Username-Description ...
You have a good point. It's not possible right now but it should be. I have entered a feature request for that.
