Recently i've been looking into Microsoft Azure, and tried to add an Azure Console session in RDM, but somehow it doesn't show me anything.
I've configured two subscriptions in the Azure Console settings, and when clicking on the 'Test' button in the subscribtion settings it says 'Success'.
However when i start the Azure Console session i get a session with a row of buttons at the top of which only the refresh and history button are functional, all the others are greyed out. In the panes below the buttons nothing is being displayed..
Am I doing something wrong or???
We don't support all the Azure types. Do you use virtual machines or web roles?
David Hervieux
I'm using virtual machines at the moment
We will add this soon. Sorry about that.
David Hervieux
ah okay...
So what does work now? Just websites, or??
(i'm just looking around in Azure and devolutions, it would be nice to have a simple pane of view of our internal machines, and cloud based machines. I guess we could create normal rdp sessions to Azure machines, but with a lot of different subscriptions (and a lot of developers) a more 'dynamic overview' in Devolutions would be nice.
I have entered a feature request. The console was created when Azure was mostly only web roles but I think it's time for a refresh.

Yes, I %100 concur... in my role I work in azure for %90 of the day, and if this worked like even the server manager in VS to start, that would be great. That being said, being able to easily custom create workflows/scripts from azure actions/activities would be awesome.
Virtual machines in the Azure console are now supported. You can download the latest beta version of RDM here to try it out: http://remotedesktopmanager.com/Home/Download#beta
