Hi,
we are quite new to RDM and start rolling it out as our main Access / Password tool. Right now we face the issue that we would like to have a central store of our systems but on some systems there are user spesific Logins. eg Ticketsystem.
If i now use as Credentials "My personal credentials" than theses data seams to be stored somewhere on the local maschine because if i login on my notbook using the same AD and SQL Storage no personal credentials are present.
Anyone has an idear how to implement that requirement?
We are using Version 9.2.10.0 with SQL Server and AD Auth.
give private vault a try!
don't know if private vault is already possible with sql - we use RDMS and can select it in navigation-pane as 2nd register card
we use it and its a great feature,
define your personal creds in private vault-register and change sessions (i.e. by batch-edit) to use this creds with your user.
Kind Regards
Markus

Indeed, the private vault is available on the SQL Server data source. However you're right that My Personal Credentials could be stored in the database as an option. The problem will now be when you use multiple data sources.

I jump around different computers/servers accessing RDM and would love the option to store my personal credentials inside the SQL db instead of locally.
Maybe there could be an option to select "use same personal credentials on all my data-sources"!

Hi,
We will try to improve the portability of the My Personal Credentials but I don't think it will be possible for the next version.
