We have configured different company folders and in them the sessions, but sometime somebody must access an company that is not in his group is there a way to create a shortcut on the company Folder. Now I can only create a shortcut on the session but we don't store the credentials in the session but in the company so when that uses clicks on the shortcut it keeps asking for the credentials.
Hello,
You cannot create a folder shortcut, but I fail to see how you make the company visible to other teams.
If they have the "View" permission on it, and sessions under it have the credentials set to "inherited", then it should work fine. Please add more details and maybe a screenshot if I misunderstood your requirement.

I've added a screenshot, we set the permission on the Klanten (customers) for the application users group, but sometimes our sales must have access to one of our customers let's say ANAC they have three servers, the credentials (username and password) are set/stored in de company folder and we don't want to give them access to every other client that is in the list. i've I create a shorcut on one of the servers and the credentials will not be applied it keeps asking for the username and password, so if we can create a shortcut on the company folder the credentials will be applied for the three servers.

Hello,
I do not see where you have created the shortcuts, but have you set the credentials on that folder as well?
I just want to emphasize that we do not allow creating folder shortcuts at this time, I am trying to find the best method to fulfill your requirements by using existing means.
I would expect to see a different folder structure for your sales staffKlanten Sales <- credentials shortcut to session A shortcut to session B shortcut to session C IT <- credentials session A session B session C

Hello,
In your example I have to set the credentials twice, once on the sales folder and once on the IT folder, If the credentials change, I have to change that on two folders; sales and IT. The main users are the application groups. They have access to all the clients but sometimes sales needs access to a specific client and we don't want them to access all the other clients. We do not have the same credentials for all of our clients they are different.
Let me try to explain what we want.
I've we can create the shortcut on the company the company folder and the sessions will be set under the sales folder and I don't have to set credentials because they already exists on the company and I only have to change them on one place.
Sales (Folder no credentials stored in here, only the sales have access here)
Shortcut to Company Aand the session
Shortcut to Company B and the session
Klanten (Folder no credentials stored in here, only the application group have access to all the folders and companies that are set under the Klanten folder. )
Klanten A-B (Main Folder for all the clients that begins with A and B no credentials stored in here)
Company A (Company credentials stored in here for session A)
Session A
Company B (Company credentials stored in here for session B)
Session B
Company C (Company credentials stored in here for session C)
Session C
Klanten C-D (Main Folder for all the clients that begins with C and D no credentials stored in here)
Klanten E-F (Main Folder for all the clients that begins with E and F no credentials stored in here)
Klanten G-H (Main Folder for all the clients that begins with G and H no credentials stored in here)
Klanten I-J (Main Folder for all the clients that begins with I and J no credentials stored in here)
Klanten K-L (Main Folder for all the clients that begins with K and L no credentials stored in here)
Klanten M-N (Main Folder for all the clients that begins with M and N no credentials stored in here)
Klanten O-P (Main Folder for all the clients that begins with O and P no credentials stored in here)
Klanten Q-R (Main Folder for all the clients that begins with Q and R no credentials stored in here)
Klanten S-T (Main Folder for all the clients that begins with S and T no credentials stored in here)
Klanten U-V (Main Folder for all the clients that begins with U and V no credentials stored in here)
Klanten W-X (Main Folder for all the clients that begins with W and X no credentials stored in here)
I hope you understand what I'm trying to tell over here

what you describe is not possible at this time.
The solution I described is currently the best method to fulfill your requirements by using existing means.
Maurice
Can you add this as an feature it would save us some time.
