Remote session within a remote session

Remote session within a remote session

avatar

Hi There!

I have raised this before, but it's becoming much more of an issue as the time goes on.

If we RDP to a machine using RDP Manager, and then setup a gotomeeting, or any other form of remote access for another person, we have a problem where the cursor movements of the remote user cause our mouse to move around etc, even though the RDP session is no longer in focus. This means that when we have a remote session open, we can't really work on that screen any longer. If we put a Chrome or Word window over the top, our cursor is flying around, being controlled by the person on the RDP-Remote session.

I am hoping there is a reasonable work around for this.

Hi,
We are aware of this issue and we try to find out the root of the problem. However we have no clue on what could cause that. This is really not an easy bug since we don't have the control over the ActiveX.

Hi,
I've just tried a possible fix. I'm not sure if this will fix this specific issue but you will be able to test it in the next beta release.

Given we can replicate this issue on demand I am happy to assist with any testing or troubleshooting you want to undertake.
