Different dameware version

Hello,

Is it possible to use differents version of dameware?

We have 2 customers one have the version 7 the other version 6 and as you know the second want update his version, so on our side we have the first version on C:/program files and on d:/program files on the second now for the connection will be nice if we can suggest wich version to use.

If we update the V6 to 7 works well but after we have problem with the unhappy customer.

Hi,
Yes it's possible. When you configure your dameware installation path in File->Options Just make sure to specify the two paths separated by a ;

RDM will prompt you with the selection list and you will be able to pick the one you want.

Hello,

This works fine but if i have different persons using different PC, in our organisation we sent the database to update the ddatas connection but i can't update the options from each use is there a solution to give the users a chance to select version using the database ?

Hello,

It's not possible to select the version through the database.

However, maybe you can try our Custom Installer Service to deploy RDM in your organization.
