Hello,
i try to describe a problem we are faced for a long time, but we haven't figured out how to reproduce it in a reliable manner.
Current situation:
Left TreeView is filled with folders, subfolders and entried (i.e. RDP) with subitems, hopefully this may give you the point:
We load the list and extend some of the entries to get the specific Element we would like to connect using a double click with the mouse.
Sometimes, the elements seem to extend and you click two entries above the entry you like to select. Because you are double click it, you connect to the wrong device.
I think it started with the 9.2-Release.
After looking within the forum, there seems no indication that other users already reported this problem. I would think that this is a common problem that really drives users crazy ;)
I am not sure how to explain it a better way, hopefully you understood my "report".
If you have further questions, please let me know.
Hi,
I remember to have fixed an issue related to specific case with the double click on the tree view. Could you try RDM beta to see if it still there?
David Hervieux
Today one of our users was complaining again on this issue and I have had this some weeks ago too. Never spent much time on it and therefore never searched the forum.
We don't have had too much complaints and it is very hard to reproduce.
It seems when you double click an entry and move the mouse (quickly) away another entry (you at that time are hoovering over) is "started".
I will ask our QA to take a look at it.
Regards
David Hervieux
Our QA was able to reproduce it. I will enter a bug for that.

David Hervieux
Hello,
A fix has been made internally and it will be available in the next build of RDM.

Hubert Mireault
This should be in the current release?
Yes we did a fix. Do you still have the problem?
Regards
David Hervieux
Yes, one of my colleagues confirmed today this issue still exists.
With RDM 12.5?
David Hervieux
Yes, 12.5.3
I will ask our QA to continue the investigation.

David Hervieux
Hello,
We have reproduced the issue in a specific way.
It s only seems happen when we double click to launch a session and then quickly selecting another folder, the effect is that all session within that folder will be launched. If there is more than 1 session in the folder you should recieve a prompt to launch multiple session.
A ticket has been sent to the engineering team to solve this issue.
Can you confirm that this is how the issue is happening ?
Best regards,
Alexandre Roy
No, we also experiencing this with two (or more) sessions on the same level (in the same folder).
Double clicking one and the quickly move the mouse (mostly by accident) over another opens the "other" session.
Hi again,
Some wizardry just happened,
Anyway, we found another way to reproduce the issue with your information.
The second click of the "double-click" has to be held and release over another entry to make it happen. I imagine if you start alot of session this can happen from time to time without noticing.
Again, I just want to make sure this is the way this is happening on your side :).
Best regards,
Alexandre Roy
Hi, sorry for the delay.
It looks like this is the issue we are having.
Regards,
JP
Hello,
We think we've found a fix and the change has been made internally. I can't reproduce the behavior with the change applied. This will be available in the next minor update.

Hubert Mireault
Looks like it is fixed in 12.5.6.0 ... can you confirm it should be fixed (as I find it hard to test ;-))?
Hello Jan-Pieter,
Yes, 12.5.6.0 contains the changes we've made to fix the issue.
Regards,
Hubert Mireault
Ok, I will ask my colleague once he is back from his holiday to test but as far as I can tell it has been solved :-)
