We have the need to use a different PuTTY session depending on whether or not we're inside the network or remotely. When connecting from outside, we need to use a session that uses SSH tunneling in PuTTY to access equipment. When inside, we can connect directly to the internal IP of the device - if we tried to use the tunnel session it will fail as there is no route to that host from our jump box. Is this possible using a single entry in RDM?
Hi,
Have you tried to set you putty as a VPN for your session and use the Ping/Port Scan to detect if the VPN needs to be opened?

I'm not able to select putty as a VPN session. Also, not sure if that would help if I could - I don't want to launch two putty sessions. I need to use the tunneling capabilities of putty (not a socks proxy).
if (can ping internal) then use putty session x else use putty session y

You need to select Existing Session and after that select one of your Putty session:

See my edit above...it's not really a VPN.
Ok,
I don't think that there is anything we can do for now.
Sorry about that.

Any chance we can get that in as a feature request?
I will enter a feature request but for now I don't see how we could fit that in our architecture. I will try to keep this scenario in mind for the future.
