Cant get valid google authenicator code

Hi I have been attempting to setup Google Authenticator for 2 factor authentication to RemoteDesktop manger
unfortunately I have been abled to get it working .

I use it Google Authenticator for other apps without any issue can you give me some idea of what might be cause this

after scanning the barcode successfully the code that is returned in not accepted by Remote desktop manager ?
