Editable Text sessions

I'm not sure how hard this would be to do, but i noticed in the latest beta that text sessions open by default in edit mode.
I included a "way it is" and the "dream edit" screenshots.... excuse my sloppy photoshop work :).
It looks like it would take redoing the edit session to be it's own "edit text session" to make a wordpad like editor inside of the generic session editor.
Also, it looks like the Edit on open is a per session setting... would it be possible to have that set for all sessions with a toggle instead of per session?
