can't click on session or menus when I'm embedded

Hi - outstanding product - I really dig it. After more years than I care to acknowledge using putty I dig this tool to "bring it all together".
My configs. Standard Edition. Same thing happens on both my Windows7 desktop on laptop A and WindowsXP Pro desktop on laptop B. On both my Remote Desktop Manager version is 6.6.0.0 .Net Runtime v2.0.50727.
Issue: I have a putty session open embedded. Or more than one session. And I want to go click on something in the menu up top. It does nothing. It kinda blinks around the edge of the RDM window but no action. I have to click off into another session on the left or change focus to something outside the embedded session to make it work.
Any ideas?
