Hello,
I'm trying to figure out what this "Edit Session (Local Machine Specific Settings)" is for? We have a 5 user license and we just use the SA user for the SQL data source. When we use plain "Edit Session" to modify the Logon settings for a RDP connection, it updates the whole connection for all other users. If we try "Edit Session (User Specific Settings)" it also changes the whole session for all 5 users. I thought that the Local Machine Specific Settings option was for each local instance. What's the best way to be able to set the user specific Logon settings for RDP without modifying the entire session for everyone else? Thank you.
Hi,
The problem is because everybody use the same user (SA). If you create a user in the database for each one of you, you will be able to have you own credential set. The local Machine specific save the override on the current machine for the selected session.

If I make changes using the Local Machine specific settings option, it's not keeping the overrides. Is that a known bug or is there a delay before the settings show up? How exactly does the Local Machine Specific Settings work compared to the User specific or just plain Edit Session? Thank you for your response!
Hi,
The Local override is saved encrypted on the local machine but it's possible that because you have an user specific setting, it overrides the local machine setting.
