crash while proxy authentication

Hi,
What version were you using before the latest update? Was it was working well before?

Also, could you open the log file remotedesktopmanager.log?

I used Version 6.5.1.0. With this version I don't had this problem.

I coudn't find that log file.

Could you try to change <CheckForUpdateAtStartup>true</CheckForUpdateAtStartup> to <CheckForUpdateAtStartup>false</CheckForUpdateAtStartup> in the remotedesktopmanager.cfg to see at least if the application start

Sorry, the application don't start.
But the *.cfg file don't exist, so I have copied it from the old version and changed the setting. So long, the result is the same, the application don't start.

I deactivate the proxy settings unter the Internetoptions, I deactivate the proxy client and I deinstall the proxy client. But the application don't start.

on you don't see an remotedeskopmanager.log also?

yes, I look under "C:\Program Files\Devolution\Remote Desktop Manager" and I search in the Profile folder, but I can't find a .log file.

Ok, if it's installed in the program files, the log will be in %LocalAppData%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager

You might found also something in the Event Viewer because this is a .NET crash before the application really start

There is no folder %LocalAppData%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager.

In the Event Viewer aren't any .NET entries. There are only some entries from the Microsoft Firewall Client, that the authentication for the RemoteDesktopManager.exe failed. And the User login information don't accepted through the Proxy Server. But I actual I don't use the proxy client and if I try to start the programm, there are no entries in the event log.
(For testing this I use a Windows XP Pro virtual machine)

p.s. I 've finished my work for today, be back tomorrow.

I'm unable to reproduce it in my virtual machine but I have another person with this problem. I will continue with him
