OpenVPN language mistake

avatar

I'm using RDM9.2.6.0 with OpenVPN add-on 1.4.4.1 and with OpenVPN 2.3.3-I001.
The credentials are stored within the item and "Enable automatic authentication" is activated, but RDM not fill the dialogue box.
If I type user name and password manually the process goes on and the VPN is established.
I think the problem is the different language of OS because I receive this message:

Unable to send the credentials.
Can't find the window name: OpenVPN - User Authentication

But in my case the window name is OpenVPN - Autenticazione dell'utente

Hi,
Yes we use the window name to detect the dialog. We will add this one.

Hello,
i have the same Problem.
The window Name is "SSL VPN - Benutzer Authentifizierung"

Hi,
Those two translations "Benutzer Authentifizierung" and "Autenticazione dell'utente" are already supported in v1.4.4.2

hi,
the problem is i use the sophos ssl vpn client with the openvpn addon.
And there the name of the Window is "SSL VPN - Benutzer Authentifizierung" instead of "OpenVPN - Benutzer Authentifizierung"
it would be great if you can put this name in the addon too.

Best regards

Hi,
The search string is "Benutzer Authentifizierung". The beginning of the window name is not important and the error message is always with the english version. If the automatic authentication fails it should be something else happening.
Which add-on version are you using ?

Now I'm using RDM9.2.10.0, OpenVPN add-on 1.4.4.2 and OpenVPN 2.3.4-I002 but the problem persist with same error message.

Hi,
Could you give a try to this new version ?
You just have to replace the dll in %LocalAppData%\devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager\

I added the possibility to specify the window title for login.
But be carefull you need the latest beta version to run it.

Hi,
ok now it works without error...but the feature "automatic authentication" no: it doesn't fill the username and password fields automatically.

Hi,
Another user reported that if OpenVPN is running as administrator that RDM can not longer enter the credentials.
Could it be your case ?
