Sub Connection - can it be duplicated?

avatar

Hello,

I'm scratching my head - is there a reason why I can't duplicate (or drag-and-drop) a sub connection?

I would like to execute scripts on parent connection (using telnet and SSH), sub connection seems like a nice & simple way to do it...

Hi,
I have entered a feature/bug (not sure) to implement the duplicate for the subconnection.

This is now included in the internal beta build of RDM 9.5. It should be released soon.

Closely related to this...

(Apologies for necro-ing the thread).

I'm doing setup on my environment for the first time, and doing a lot of subnet imports.

It would be great if I could create subconnections by dragging other connections (unless I'm just misunderstanding the best way to use subconnections)

For our primary connection, I'd do an RDP session, and then, depending on the type of server, perhaps a web connection, an ssh connection, or Dameware connection for example.... my autodetect finds three different connections, but this would allow for fast merging.
