SQL Datasource issue
We use a Microsoft SQL datasource. This works great, but when you are offline and boot up your laptop, it takes RDM a really long time before it notices you're offline. Then it switches just fine, but is it possible to shorten this time-out? It shouldn't be hard to see there is no server responding, right?

This is controlled by the "connection timeout" setting in your datasource.
Users that are often in your situation have requested us to create a setting to prompt for the mode when we connect, and we did. Maybe you could try with the setting for a while? Its beside the offline mode drop down in the Advanced tab of the data source configuration.
