Hi,

i have encountered a bug with roles and sql. If you just set the rights for users with a role he doesnt get the correct database rights e.g. insert / update / delete in the database you can see that these permissions are denied. If you give the users the rights directly in rdm they will get all the permissions.

Version:9.2.8.0 64 Bit
Datasource: SQL 2012

Hi,
This is known limitation. You need to check the Edit/Delete/Add checkbox directly in the user or manually add the right in the database. RDM will applied it on the save. This is not an issue with RDMS since we are not using the user to access the database like with do with the SQL Server data source.
