Dameware Issues
I am evaluating Dameware 10 and I am having some issues.
1) Smart sizing doesnt seem to work with the embedded view. If you keep hitting smart sizing it keeps moving the view until the entire screen is no longer displayed.
2) When I select external it seems to open in some strange windowed/full screen mode. I have to hit full screen and then turn off full screen for it to show me the windowed view. Smart sizing works perfectly in this external window but I dont want to have to hit full screen twice to get here.
Anyone else seeing these sizing issues?

Unfortunately there nothing we can do. We don't have the control on the Dameware repaint. Could you verify with them directly?

It only happens when it is embedded in your application. It works perfectly fine in their application. They are not going to troubleshoot that.
We use a hack to embed the application. They don't have any API or ActiveX like RDP does. I will see if we can find another workaround but I can't guarantee. We are limited unfortunately by the third party we integrate.

Are you seeing the same thing that I see or I am doing something wrong? If I use embedded and keep hitting smart sizing the entire view will eventually go off the screen. The distance it moves actually changes depending on whether the ribbon is there or not so I feel like it is something that your application can control.
I will verify tomorrow but I have to install Dameware 10. It's no longer on my machine. Could you try the Classic UI in the meantime? I thought it was only a refresh issue with the smartsizing.

What do you mean the Classic UI? If Classic UI means the external setting in your application then yes that works.
I dont know if I would call it a refresh issue. If you hit smart sizing to turn it off and on it just completely messes up the window view. There is no fix except to end the session.

I have tested it with Dameware 11 on my Windows 7 and it works well. I'm not able to reproduce it yet. The only thing I see is when I hit full screen but this is normal since RDM can't handle the fullscreen when it's embedded.
