Hello,
I want to add a Read/write subdirectory where employees can freely add/edit and remove connections below a read only folder
Currently i have 2 different security groups setup:
Read: with Read only rights
Edit: With all options including delete enabled.
The first layer below the Root has "Read" as a security group and below them i wish to add folders with the "Edit" security group.
As soon as i try to make any changes using a test account i am confronted with the message "You don't have the ""X"" access rights. Where X stands for either Edit or Delete depending on the action i try to perform
When i create a folder with the "Edit" right directly below the root then eveything does work as intended. Apparantly the deny right is being inherited from the top layers; is there any way to circumvent this?

Hi,
In the current version, the rights are inherited. This means that you can't give a writable access under a read-only folder. We already have a request for that in our todo list but it's not a simple task.

Thank you for the swift reply David,
I shall try to work around this till a update adds more functionality in this regard.
