embedded ie / htpassword / hide script errors
hi!
when opening a website which requires an authentication via htpassword / htaccess with internet explorer in embedded mode and the option "hide script errors" set the site fails loading ...

What we have to do for such error?
I'm not sure why some site fail to load with some javascript and embedded IE. Maybe it's because the ActiveX use IE 7 by default. If you use the latest beta version, in the option you can change the IE emulation mode. Also, have you tried to use the embedded Firefox?

it is not some site but any site that is password protected via htaccess and htpasswd ...
changing the ie emulation mode does not result in any changes ...
deactivating the option or using firefox works as expected .. but i think this behaviour is a bug ...

It might be a bug but I don't know what I can do. We use the Microsoft ActiveX. Can you just send me one url so I can do more test?
