hi!
is it possible to use the current windows credentials of the user running RDM to log on to a RDP-connection?!
i've found "Use default credentials" on the tab "Tools" .. but where do i define the default credentials?
i assume that this can be set for each user and is stored in the db?!
in the documentation (PDF - user manual) i've found a budding screenshot in section "6.5 Credential repository" where there is a second root node "Credentials" .. but this does not appear in our tree view ...
*update*
just read this topic http://forum.devolutions.net/forum/topic1354-question-about-credentials.aspx and added a credential .. then the node appeared ...
maybe this could be fixed to be allways shown?!

ps: we use a MS SQL database / RDM beta 6.1.13.0a
Hi,
The problem is that we have to provide to the RDP session with your username and password. It's not possible to extract your password from Windows.
For the tools, it's not a problem because most of them use the Keberos authentication and by setting it to Default it use your Windows credentials.

ok so windows-authentification is not feasible ...
how about setting a "default credential" per user which is used for an RDP session if not specified in the session settings?!

Hi,
We have a feature that we have decided to postpone for the next version. This feature will allow you to create global variable in the application. By default you will be able to set a username and password for that.

great!
that sounds exactly like the thing i was looking for since 5.6 ;)
looking forward to this feature!
