Amazon S3 - storing credentials can't use password

avatar

Hello,
I am using enterprise edition, latest version available from website.
I set up an Amazon S3 data source. It works great, except for storing credentials using the default provider.
I can set the password, but then i can't get it anymore. Clipboard / password is greyed out

Hi,
I'm not sure I understand, you can get the password from where, a session or the configuration?

in the application,:
right click then Add, Add credential Entry
Then i add an account.
But i can't get the password anymore, copy to clipboard is not working.

Using the default password provider

Ok,
What version do you use, have you tried this one?

I am using version 6.1.3
The version you told me add an extra check box "allow copy credentials to clipboard", which allow then get the password to the clipboard.
Except by adding the password to the clipboard, i don't see anyway to simply see again the password in cleartext... ? Any way to do that?

Hi,
You can press Alt+Enter in the password textbox to reveal it.

It's not working on both versions

Sorry it's my mistake, I just tried to confirm and found that the shortcut is Ctrl+Alt+Enter

It works with ctrl+alt+enter. Can't you add a simple button "display password" ?
I got the application inside a vmware workstation. This shortcut switch between full screen and normal, so i can't use it

The problem with the button, is that i have to modify all the forms. I will eventually, do you have one in particular that you use need more often?
