VPN Connection Time Out Too Soon

I have the SonicWALL NetXtender add-on installed. This works great.
I also just implemented a radius server on the network to authenticate users at the firewall for the VPN.
The problem is the VPN while connecting times out before the authentication process to the radius server has a chance to finish.
The command window disappears after like 10 seconds. I need at least 30.
I tried looking for the setting to increase this value but could only find for when the connection has already been made.
