How to remember specific user settings for layout

We have RDM 9.0.12 Enterprise running in our environment. The data is stored in a MSSQL database. The "client" software is installed on a windows share from which a user starts RDM. We do not want the client locally installed on the windows clients. To keep the base of our VDI's is small as possible.

The problem we have is that layout settings are written to remotedesktopmanager.lyt on the share. So when a user shuts the application, the layout settings are overwritten. Not every user likes the same settings ;-)

Is it possible to redirect those settings, for example to (local) users settings?
