Navigation as a tab

the content area and the navigation panel cannot be mixed in the same control. sorry about that.

You can hide hide and use the filter text box instead.

I'm not sure i understand about the filter box. I'm trying to get a screen that shows me all the sessions I could start but doesn't require any additional screen real estate. This is why I though navigation as a tab would work.

How about this...

Is there any way to "freeze" the dashboard to specific object in the navigation tree? This could essentially accomplish the same thing with the exception that the columns in the dashboard can't be customized like those in the navigation.
