Hello, I'm using a Dell Precision M3800 with 3200x1800 resolution and the DPI is set at 150%.
Some of my Embedded RDP connections will work fine for a while and then when i go to click say the Start menu of the session, the remote session doesn't recognize the click. Basically, say the 15% border around the session just doesn't accept clicking. The pointer is there, but no clicking is available.
So I tried reducing the resolution of the session down to 1400x1050 and it may work for a while, but after the M3800 has blanked to screensaver, going back to the remote session, the issue reappears. I've tried turning off smart scaling in the RDP options...no luck.
Any ideas?
TIA
Hi,
Have you seen this topic about the high DPI?

Thanks...I've seen that suggestion in other articles in regards to dealing with programs on high DPI displays. Trying that on RDM makes it pretty tough to read.
This is something that we want to improve in the future version. We want to make it more user friendly in a touch environment as well.

Has this been fixed yet?
Not yet. This should be better in the next major release.

Hi,
I have been using this app for 2 years now. I bought the M3800 because I needed the higher resolution for remote support (over 300+ entries in the software). Much to my disappointment I found this thread.
My renewal runs out on 6/20. Can you please provide a beta or something, as if this isn't fixed, I am not going to be able to use the software, and will have to use a different tool.
I need it embedded, so the above suggestion doesn't work for me. Please help.
Hi,
Have you tried the suggestion for "Screen areas unresponsive in embedded sessions"?
Do you see the problem if you use RDCMan?

Hello,
Thank you for the response. I found that item next and tried it, at least I can now click the start menu! It doesn't look good when I turn that option on, but that maybe just a byproduct of the large resolution.
Please let me know when the software is updated that i can turn this back on, but for now i can function again.
