Standard edition functionality

Standard edition functionality

I am a bit unclear about how the standard edition now works with session usernames and passwords.

If I store the password in my data source using an enterprise version of RDM will the standard edition be able to initiate the connection and have the username/password sent to the session to automatically login?

Hi,
We have removed one limitation in RDM 9.1 for the RDP connection. Before that the answer was no but with RDM 9.1 you can now store the password and username for the RDP connection as long as you use an XML or SQLite data source.

ok I am a bit confused then. I am using version 9.1.0.0 and while using my enterprise license my RDP session will connect and login without issue. However when I switch to the standard edition I can save password and username but I am unable to click open session and have it automatically login. It puts me at the windows login prompts for the system I am connecting to.

Hi douglas,
Let me verify. Perhaps we missed a thing and forgot to remove the limitation. I will get back to you soon.
