How to limit session access with users or groups?

We are in the process of implementing RDM for 30+ users who will connect to 100s of customers. So far I am very impressed with the functionality provided; however, I am having some difficulty with understanding how to correctly configure RDM security. Here's some background:
We have multiple teams of people who will all be using this tool. We connect to 100s of customer machines. We need to be able to allow certain users or groups access to view and open some sessions and deny them access to other sessions.

Here is what I have tried so far:

Issue: As far as we can tell, this is not doing anything. The other users are all able to view/open/edit the group regardless of how I have tried to configure the security.

I suspect that I am not understanding how it should be configured, but I have reviewed the help as well as every related post that I could find in the forum. Any suggestions on how to set this up?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,
If your user in SQL Server are SYSDBA or database owner, they get full access, is the case? the other thing also is that the group security group is not inherited. It's only here to hide the information in the direct group node, so have you assigned the security group to each session? You can use the batch edit for that by the way.

Wow, thanks for the quick response!

The users are neither SYSDBA nor database owners. We do have the security group set on the sessions.

Can you try to login with one user and check in the about box. We add some information to see if they are view as an administrator. Send me a printscreen by email and not in the forum (your license is in the aboutbox and we don't want to share it).
