I'm using Windows 7 Pro, Remote Desktop Manager 6.0.1 Enterprise Edition, and Cisco VPN client version 5.0.01.0600. I have the VPN user name and password information filled in on the VPN tab of my session, and I have removed the check mark from the "Always prompt for password" box, but it's not passing the VPN login credentials when I connect my session. The vpnclient.exe starts in the command window, and I see the Authenticating user line. At that point the VPN Client window pops up and asks for a user name and password instead of using what is stored on the VPN tab in the session. Any ideas on why it's not passing the credentials?
After playing with this a little more I was able to resolve the issue. I had to modify the properties of the .exe files in C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\VPN Client. I went to the Compatibility tab and placed a check in the "Run as Administrator box". After the change the Cisco VPN client accepts the credentials coming from Remote Desktop Manager.
