Hi,
I think there is a bug with the most recent stable version 6.0.1.0 and Damweare 6.8.1.4. I try to use this embedded and it won't let me in...however, if I don't use embedded, I get in just fine. I hope I can post pictures because I have a screenshot of the error when using embedded: (if you can't see it, try https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/Nt1uq7ILZsDX3F61f_zOhA?feat=directlink )
I think this might be due to the fact that the authentication mode drop down is not being passed on to the session. I have to manually set it again when i go with external.
Yes...that is it...I was able to successfully embed but only by prompting with the settings box from dameware and reselecting the authentication type. So the real bug here is that authentication type is not passed on through RDM to Dameware.

Hi,
I'm not very familiar with the authentication type? Is it something that you set once or is it something available in the command line?

It's set under where you edit the session: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/xowCsIIbmbrDjavMeWGlrA?feat=directlink
That value is being ignored (not passed through) when using embedded. It's also not staying set when using external as when the dameware settings box pops open before connect, I have to select it again.
I don't understand, according to the command line it's the -a:2 options and it's here in my code:

Can you give it a try in command line? We use the same argument builder in embedded than external mode, so this should not be a problem.

Looks like it must be a bug within dameware...it's not working for me via command line either. Thanks for your promptness on this!
