Hello
I've got several issues with the SSO when connecting to a 2012 server : I choose not save any credentials in my ressource to be able to connect with an admin account. On some servers it asks for a login and password and some other it directly connects with my current session credentials (even if I change some settings like connecting with a specific username, a stored credentials entry, if I enable/disable SSO, if I check/uncheck "ask password", ...)
My version : 9.0.12.0
Data source : Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (database upgraded when connected with version 9)
My computer : Windows 8.1 64 bits, 4Go RAM, i5.
FYI, I didn't have the issue with my windows 7 computer and RDM version 8, and a colleague doesn't have any problem with his windows 8 computer and same RDM version.

Could this be because you don't have the RDP 8.0 update installed? I think it's built-in in Windows 8.

Actually windows 8.1 is shipped with the 8.1 RDP software too; one possibility could be that the RDM software is incompatible with the 8.1 version, but not with the 8.0 (shipped with windows 8 and updated on the windows 7 computers).
I don't think I can revert to the 8.0 version on windows 8.1, except by replacing the mstsc.exe (and all the associated dll) files manually but that's not very clean.
Thanks for your answer.
Hi,
Do you have the Network Level Authentication checked?

David Hervieux
Checked or unchecked, the behaviour is the same : SSO with my current credentials on these server; it doesn't ask for my login and password.
Do you have the same behavior when you use it in external mode?
David Hervieux
In external mode, it asks for my login and password, no SSO
