Hi There!
Out of the box, control F starts filtering the connection by way of searching. We found it interfered with wanting to do a local search when we had a session open. I changed it to Control S, but that doesn't work. I have attached a screenshot of the settings. How do I make it so that if I am in a session or focus is on the RDM app, that Control S, starts a search? Also can i configure a hotkey to clear the search/Filter?

Hi,
Are you using an RDP session in full screen or in the tab page? Do you have the little magnet red in the statusbar?
David Hervieux
Tabbed and Yes I have a Red Magnet
Hi,
I've just thought of something. I think that by default if you have the filter in the status bar, the shortcut focus the filter textbox. Could you verify that?
David Hervieux
Sorry you lost me a little?
Does the filter text box is available in the statusbar in your main dialog?
David Hervieux
Yes it is, bottom left. I can click manually on it and type and it filters.
Could you try to hide it and retry the shortcut just to see if it makes a difference?
David Hervieux
Toggling with Alt-F7 doesn't appear to have helped.
I have released another beta. Could you give it a try. If it does not work, I will need to create a special build with some debug information.
David Hervieux
Can confirm behaviour no different. Shortcut key is Control S
Can I please get a debug version so I can provide you with more information? This problem is very annoying!

Hi,
This is now in the latest beta:
http://remotedesktopmanager.com/Home/Download#beta
I have also made a fix that could resolve your issue.
David Hervieux
Latest version Beta 17 makes this work correctly thanks.
What keys are people currently using ? Control S saves current page on Chrome, so it's not ideal.
Great news!
I like Ctrl+Alt+F but I'm not using a lot of shortcut in the application.
