I'm trying to connect to myr ScreenConnect server, but I always get "Unable to connect to the server. Please verify host, user name and password.". The Problem is that Remote Desktop changes the host URL:
Host (as it should be): https://mydomain:444/RemoteSupport
Host (as it is changed by Remote Support): https://mydomain:444
Username: myusername
Password: mypassword
Why cuts Remote Support off the end of my Host-URL?

Hi,
I will ask André to verify that tomorrow. What version of ScreenConnect do you use?
David Hervieux
It's Version 4.0.5552.5051, the latest Version of ScreenConnect.
Indeed...I cannot get this to work either...host URL is always getting truncated and no matter what I type...I am also getting "Unable to connect to the Server..Please verify host, user name, and Password"
Hi,
Have you tried the latest beta release?
http://remotedesktopmanager.com/Home/Download#beta
David Hervieux
Hi...I just downloaded and installed this latest Beta and while I am no longer getting the URL truncated...I am still unable to get it to recognize our Screenconnect setup. I have tried using the following URL's and can't get it to connect.
http://remote.mydomain.com:8040
remote.mydomain:8040 (without the http)
http://remote.mydomain.com:8040/host
http://remote.mydomain.com:8040/host#All%20Sessions
Maybe I am doing something wrong?
We do use AD authentication for screenconnect and I have tried using Domain\username and just my username with all of the above URL's and still can't get it to connect.
Let me know.
Thanks very much
Hi,
You have the correct syntax. I'll check if something changed with ScreenConnect.
Our tests have been made with version 4.0.5454.5032 instead of 4.0.5552.5051.
Best regards,
André Sanscartier
Hi,
I just realized that you said that you use "AD authentication" but we only support "Forms Authentication".
Sorry for any inconvenience.
André Sanscartier
Are there any plans to support AD authentication in the future?
Hi,
We plan to try some ideas that we have to do this.
But for now I can't tell when it will be done.
Best regards,
André Sanscartier
