I am running Windows 7 64bit and in the last two weeks I have noticed that when using Remote Desktop Manager to connect to a VPN and then RDP to a machine I get the (not responding) in the title bar. Don't get me wrong it still connects but it seems to take a little longer than in the past. I can only guess that Microsoft sent down an update that effected the RDP session under RDM. Has anyone else seen this happening and what did you do to correct it?
Hi,
The application contains a wait state for the VPN, you can change the default value in the application option. Maybe this will help. This is here to ensure that the VPN has completed his connection.

I've seen this quite a bit. I'd be curious to know if your VPN connection is a full tunnel or split tunnel (if you know)?
All of my VPN connections are either Windows VPN or Cisco VPN connections and as far as I can tell the are full tunnel.
Ok just had time to look at David's suggestion and the wait state was set to 0. Not sure what the wait state of 0 is supposed to mean and just for kicks and giggles I moved it to 1 so now I will test that and see if that solves it.
SURPRISE! Nope didn't solve the issue. Any more thoughts David?
One last thing you can try, it to change it directly in the session. There is session specific wait timeout.

I can also add that full tunnels seem to be a real issue for me as well. Still troubleshooting.
