asking for Enterprise lic??
Today, I launched RDM (I'm on 6.0), it's asking for a lic at the screen where you can enter your Enterprise registration.
This copy has been licensed (with ENT) since July 2010.
Why or how would it lose the lic info? I use S# data source

No, this was not the first execution.
I've been using 6.0 since it was released
It's weird, maybe something went wrong when the cfg file was saved. Let met know if this happen again.

Should one backup the cfg file?
The application is already creating a backup, but it's not a bad idea to do one.

Where is the location of the backup?
Why could I not restore from the backup?
%LocalAppData%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager. The application try to reload the backup if the original is empty.
