Connect VM via vCenter

Connect VM via vCenter

Hi,
we have 2 ESX centrally managed by a vCenter-Server.
Connecting to ESX-Sessions over vmware-vmrc works with "[Datastore] folder/vm.vmx"
But I cant get a working connection via vCenter.
Every time I try this I get an error like "the object was not found or has never existed".
Does anyone has this up und running?

Can you connect if you try in command line directly?

I can connect in command line.
I had a simple typo...
If others want to circumvent this -
copy the path from the settings dialogue in vCenter and you are safe.
