Tabbing whilst in embedded vnc

Just noticed this today after one of the other techy brought this up.

whilst in tabbed mode within VNC you cant tab between username and password boxes (which can result in staff typing the password visibly into the username field.)

ive tested this with vnc set to external and you can tab perfectly fine so only appears to happen with the embedded mode.

Any ideas?
