Certificate Management

Hi!

We have Systems that got self-signed Certificates where we must be aware of validity.
Could it be possible to add the feature of Certificate Notification for Servers/Systems/etc.?

And would it be possible to show those Systems that are running out as a splash screen Info after every LogIn (optionally)?

Hello,

The certificate Entry Type would allow you to set an expiration date, in the "More" section of the entry's property, and you can access the Expiration Schedule to give you a quick idea of what's coming up, in the Administration -> Reports.
The certificate can be inserted in this entry (for distribution purposes for instances), but can also be a dummy file, or a dummy URL.

Should this would not be enough, you can enter a feature request here : https://forum.devolutions.net/forum17-remote-desktop-manager--feature-request.aspx

Let us know if it helps!

Hi Alexander,

i looked for your suggestion and noticed that if the expiration date is reached, the whole entry is not usable anymore (as long as we change the expiration date afterwards). That could be confused for some of the employees.
Otherwise this would not be a bad option as the whole entry is marked as orange.

The other thing is, that there is no PopUp after LogIn to inform about that (2 Weeks before running out f.e.)... would be nice to have!

I will look to enter a feature request for this one!
