Hello !
I need connect to my host via certificate on smart-card.
I add this certificate on Windows Credential manager.
I add this credential on Remote Desktop Manager, when i check entry - RDM says "These credentials are valid"
But when i try to connect i get error "Unable to find the entry in the Windows Credential Manager !"
What am I doing wrong ?
Hello,
Are you trying to establish a RDP session?
How do you make it work outside RDM? Is it working with Microsoft RDP (mstsc.exe)?
Best regards,

Hello,
Every time when i connect standard RDP-session i need enter PIN.
Microsoft RDP can save login and password, but not support save PIN to smart-card. This functional is not supported.
RDM have many options for work with any kind of credentials. Can RDM work with credentials (certificate and pin) on smart-card ?
In my environment i have many servers and access to each is through smart-card.
It is problematic to enter pin every time :-)
Hello,
In embedded mode, RDM use a Microsoft ActiveX to establish the RDP connection. In fact, it's the same ActiveX that is used in Microsoft RDC Manager.
In external mode, RDM use the native Microsoft RDP (mstsc).
The only thing that I can suggest you for now is to try to check the Smart cards option in the Local Resources tab of your RDP session.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
