I know PVM is still considered a supported product, howerver is there an End of Life date for it as it's been pretty well removed from the website? We have an additional team looking for a password vault solution, howerver I don't want to go through the process of setting it up for them if we're going to have to move to DPS or some other solution in the next 12 months.

Hello, we have PVM running on a cloud MySQL server. Our desktop clients are still able to connect and access the passwords in the database. But our iOS apps get an error, "Unable to Connect to your Data Source". However, when I edit the data source in the app, Test Host and Test Schema are both successful. The mobile app is version 4.5.3 and the desktop application is version 10.0.0.0

I have an extg record that has a URL to my local NAS. When I click on the globe icon, then launches the url in my default browser. I now make a duplicate of this record, and now when I click on the globe icon, it open the url in an embedded tab and there is no way to force it to open in an external browser. How can these two "identical" record behave differently, and how do I configure PVM to ALWAYS open URL's in an external browser

Please bring back rich text notes as another tab on the standard templates like they used to have. The main reason I moved form Roboforms to PMV was for the rich text notes so I could record additional info against my login credentials. A few releases ago you dropped this feature so now we only have a plain text note field under the "more" menu on the left hand side. Previously we could tick the "note/securenote" option below the menu on hte lft hand side to create another tab alongside the login details where we could record additional notes in RTF so could bold and underline to create some structure OK embedding screenshots was really nice, but killed performance as PVM saves back to server on every edit so I can live without images, but really want more control of fonts etc.

Ok just upgraded my client to V10 and now am continually getting prompted to enter/re-enter a datasource master key but its not accepting my single password. This is in addition to my single password to open the app. What has changed?????

Why when I create a new record do all of my folders not show up to select the current folder: here is my folder structure [image] and folders listed when click ... [image]

I created a custom installer request for PVM 9.6.0.0 about an hour and a half ago. Usually these take 30 minutes at most.

When is this extension going to work like it should? Using it with Chrome and the following sites wont work: https://login.live.com/login.srf wordpress https://forum.devolutions.net/forum30-password-vault-manager--support.aspx plus probably 50% of my logins!

I have noticed that "sometimes" when I edit an extg PVM record, the setting for the display change back to "embedded". This does not always happen, but often enough to really annoy me now!

The web login was working well for a week or two, but its now playing up again. Every day I have to close and re-open my desktop client before the web browser (chrome) will recognise the extension as being connected. I dont close or log out of the client each night, but every morning the client has a message up saying its lost the connection, and the browser extension is unconnected. even after closing down both client and browser, then opening and re-logging into client, the browser will show up my logins when I click on the extension icon, but when I click on the * in the login field the popup box just hangs with no logins. Been doing this for a couple of weeks now.

Is there a way to set the default display option for new records to "External" It drives me mad that I have to change it on all new records created. I've looked in the file-templates menu which I thought would allow me to customise templates, but no changes are saved. Cheers Grant

Hi, I am using Password Vault manager 6.5.0.0. I have lost the passphrase of the software. I am already using it on my machine and it is working fine, but I need to install the client instance for a couple of my colleagues for that I need a passphrase which I have forgotten, is there any way to get the passphrase or recover it somehow form application or from DB.

Why has PVM disappeared from the Devolutions Website? It's no longer listed under products or solutions.

The copy username and password function has some idiosyncrasies. In chrome it usually works pasting username, then password in most site, but then randomly wont paste at all In IE 11 it only ever pastes the password rather than username with in first paste. Also, I dont see what the difference between "copy once" and "legacy" is. Both will copy username and password with a single click. how do these options differ?

Good morning, is it possible to configure the personal pv save to show the password history? I was able to configure it for our central Datasource and its showing to the configured Users. But i can´t find out how to show the history window in a personal store. Thanks! Dennis

I've been using RDM for a long time now and it is fantastic. I would like to integrate PVM with RDM for our team, but the video tutorial and the documentations for PVM are rather lacking. We have a service account used for accessing certain services and only the senior sysadmin users have access to this account. Sometimes, the newbies will request access to this account, in order to perform certain tasks that only this account can do. We would then need to physically go to their machine and enter the credentials for them. Essentially, we need a way to grant account access to users, without having them know what the password is or retrieve it via clipboard history. We need to control when the account can be accessed by them, so possibly like a one time access or expiry on time limit. How can we achieve this with PVM?

Well firstly I'd like to say PVM looks to offer the more features than any other password manager... secure RTF notes look great, being able to nominate a specific browser to open a URL is sadly missing in Roboforms, heaps of config options....but the browser integration is sadly lacking. Why doe the extension manager provide a link to the Dev Web Login extension and not hte PVM extension??? I have ended up installing both but the Dev Web Lognin extension downt do anything. I just dont get it, there does not seem to be any way to save a web page url and login details into PVM. This is the MOST FUNDAMENTAL requirement of a browser extension for a password manager yet I cant find any way to do it. Please tell me you can save a website url and login credential into PVM without reverting to clumsy cut and paste, otherwise I might as well stop evaluating PVM now!

Anyone else had problems with upgrading to V 9.0.1 and cant log in. just hangs at front screen. only fix seems to uninstall and go back to V8.6

Hi, we've had PWManager for a couple of years now and the SQL database login has not changed however recently when trying to create a new user, I am being given a message that the login for the database is invalid. This is weird because when I test the connection to the database with the same credentials it works. Please advise. I've added a word doc with screenshots.

I like the features in PVM, but its so slooow compared to Roboforms. I'm using the devolution online drive, and when I login its taking 5-10 seconds to connect and display my folders. Everytime I open a record and edit it, it takes 15-20 seconds to save it and refresh the list. This timeframe to totally unacceptable. Even 2 seconds is along time to wait for a save these days. Why does it take so long to save a record???? Is there any way to configure it to use the off-line local DB and sync automatically like Roboforms forms does? Are any of the other database options any faster??
