Congratulations and Thank You , Desktone!

As you have heard already, last month VMwareacquired Desktone, and as such now owns all of their intellectual property (i.e. their software stack which runs their Desktop as a Service (DaaS) platform, and their customers).

This is a really nice success story for Desktone, which went from being a kind of “service provider for service providers” a few years ago, to becoming an industry leader in the DaaS space today. And it’s well deserved, too -- Desktone is a renowned and advanced multi-tenant desktop virtualization platform for delivering Windows desktop and applications as a cloud service.

Desktone was the first company to offer us a contract to launch Remote Desktop Manager in 2010.
