Hi,
I have RDM 5.8.3.2 standard. I'm trying to load the SecureCRT addon. I placed SecureCRTAddOn.dll into C:\Program Files\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager and restarted RDM (menu File/Exit) but it doesn't show in the About box upon restarting. I tried with the Firefox addon as well to check and it's not loading either. I verified that I don't have double extensions (.dll.dll) or anything like that, so I'm stumped as to why it's not loading (must be something stupid on my part but it escapes me!).
This is on Win7 Pro.
Thanks for any pointer,
Christian
Hi,
Can you try the latest beta version, 5.8.3.9:
http://remotedesktopmanager.com/download/Setup.RemoteDesktopManager.5.8.3.9.exe
I can't remember exactly, but I fixed a bug blocking the add on loading, maybe you have the same situation

I just thought of something, if the application is installed in program files, Windows does a virtualization of the folder and maybe this is why the addon can't be found. Try the beta and install the addon in :
C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Local\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager
By the way, we are working on an Add-on manager to install, update and uninstall it automatically.

Hi,
I updated the Firefox add-on, one dll was missing from the zip.

Thank you for your replies. For some reason I didn't get notified of your replies (maybe my spam filter ate them). Anyway, I'll try your suggestions and get back to you.
The beta worked perfectly. No need to move the addons anywhere else, they showed up as soon as I started the program.
Thanks!
I am trying to get faststone screen capture as a add on. The screen capture tool that is in the product captures the whole window instead of the focus window.
Hi,
How do you plan to do that? The SDK was created to create a new session type or independent tools.

I don't know, I was hoping it would be a easy thing to do.
