Cannot set scaling default for quick connect RDP connections
I'm running Zorin OS 18.1 Pro on a Framework 13. I have to edit my connections to optimize for HiDPI connections as shown below.
And as you can see, everything looks great.
However when I do a quick connect I get this:
Everything is huge. I cannot seem to find the same HiDPI setting in the preferences.
Thanks again for fixing the cursor not changing when trying to resize windows in an rdp session!

Thank you for contacting us on that matter, and glad the cursor fix is working well for you!
The HiDPI optimization option is currently stored per entry, which is why your saved RDP entries look right while a Quick Connect session falls back to the default settings, where that option is off.
You can get the same result in Quick Connect with a template:
1. Create a new RDP template.
2. In its display settings, enable the HiDPI optimization option (and Dynamic resolution, as in your saved entries).
3. Save it, then select that template in the Quick Connect bar before connecting.
Your Quick Connect sessions will then use the same scaling as your saved entries.
Could you give it a try and let me know how it goes? If it doesn't cover your use case, I can raise a request with our team for a global default for this option.

Ok, that seems to do the trick. It probably would make sense to show the currently applied template somewhere in the bottom bar. Once set I don't think there is any indication it is being applied.
