iOS App freezes during BLIKVM website autofill

Hi again, and thanks, your description already tells us a lot (it freezes during the autofill, the whole app locks up, and it's specific to BLIKVM). A few targeted follow-ups would let us pinpoint it, since we can't reproduce it here.

The questions are grouped by priority:

🔴 Essential

1. When the app is frozen, is there a "Filling" spinner/overlay shown on top of the screen (a dimmed overlay with a loading indicator)? This single detail is the most helpful.
2. Does the app recover on its own if you wait ~30–60 s, or do you have to force-close and reopen it?
3. Just before it freezes, do you actually see the BLIKVM login box with the Username/Password fields (even briefly / partly filled), or does it lock up right as the login box is appearing?
4. Is "Auto Submit" (auto-press the Login button) enabled for this entry? And Test A: turn Auto Submit OFF (keep Auto Fill on) : does it still freeze?
5. Test B: turn Auto Fill OFF, then just browse to the BLIKVM login page in RDM and type manually : does everything work normally (no freeze)?
6. A short screen recording of the freeze happening : extremely valuable.
7. RDM for iOS version, iOS version, and device model (e.g. RDM 2025.x, iPhone 15, iOS 18.5).

8. Is two-factor authentication (one-time code) enabled on your BLIKVM login?
9. Test C: leave Auto Fill on but trigger it manually (the key/autofill button) instead of automatically on load : same freeze or not?
10. If you can enable diagnostic logging (Settings → Logs/Diagnostics), reproduce the freeze, and share the log : it shows us exactly where it hangs.
11. The BLIKVM version on the login screen (the green "BliKVM Matrix" badge) and your BLIKVM model.
12. In the entry, are the form/field IDs auto-detected or entered manually? If manual, what are the Form / Username / Password / Submit values?

Hi, I only just saw your reply. I've done my best to answer your questions.

1. When the app freezes, is the "Filling" spinner or overlay visible?

The "Filling" message appears and then disappears, but the username and password fields stay empty and the app freezes.

2. Does the app recover after waiting, or do you have to force-close it?

The app becomes responsive again after a few dozen seconds, but the username and password fields are still empty. If I then tap the key icon, sometimes the fields are filled in, and sometimes the app freezes again.

3. Is the BLIKVM login form visible before the app freezes?

Yes, the login form is visible before it freezes. The username and password fields are empty.

4. Is Auto Submit enabled? Does it still freeze with Auto Submit off and Auto Fill on?

It freezes with Auto Submit both enabled and disabled.

5. With Auto Fill off, does opening the page and logging in manually work normally?

Yes, typing the username and password myself and logging in works fine. The app does not freeze.

6. Can you share a short screen recording?

No, I don't use it.

9. Does manually triggering autofill with the key icon cause the same freeze?

The results are inconsistent. Sometimes it fills in the username and password normally, and sometimes the app freezes.

10. Can you enable diagnostic logging, reproduce the issue, and share the logs?

I haven't found how to enable diagnostic logging yet. I searched for "log" in Settings, but only found RDP-related options. I'll look into it and upload the logs when I have some time.

11. What BLIKVM version and model do you use?

Version 2.2.3-alpha. I use BLIKVM PCIe and BLIKVM v4.

12. Are the form and field IDs auto-detected or entered manually? What values are configured?

They are entered manually.
Form: loginForm
Username: username
Password: password
Submit: blank

13. Does it freeze every time, or only sometimes?

It always freezes on the first autofill attempt. After a few dozen seconds, the app becomes responsive again. When I retry with the key icon, it keeps freezing and recovering until autofill eventually succeeds.

14. Do you connect over HTTP or HTTPS, using an IP address or hostname? Is the certificate self-signed?

I connect over HTTPS using a hostname and a self-signed certificate.

15. Does BLIKVM autofill work in RDM on other platforms?

It works fine on my Mac. I haven't tested it on Windows, and I don't have an Android device to test with.
