Hello everybody,
We are happy to release the RDM 2026.3 BETA version.
This is a major update and requires a database update. Please back up your database before installing this beta for maximum safety.
Please report your issues in a separate thread to simplify the follow-up.
This release is a major milestone for us. Every single DevExpress component (our previous UI library) has been replaced with Avalonia (a cross-platform UI framework), which means the same UI now runs on every platform we support, instead of each platform having its own version of every screen.
From here on, a feature can be written once and shared across Windows, macOS and Linux, with our mobile platforms benefiting to some extent as well. A developer will no longer have to implement the same functionality again for each OS. This should help us tackle more feature requests and bug fixes, and get them out sooner.
Because so much of the interface was touched, your feedback is even more valuable for this beta. If you can report anything you run into, from small UI issues to broken behaviours, we would genuinely appreciate it.
