Remember hidden-ribbon preference (Simplified/Classic/Show Tabs only) after restart

CLIENT REQUEST
After switching from Classic view to Ribbon view and hiding the ribbon to save space, the ribbon reappears every time RDM is restarted, requiring it to be hidden again manually.
It would help if RDM remembered the ribbon state (Simplified/Classic/Show Tabs only) across restarts instead of resetting it every time.

Hello, is there any update on this? When can I expect this in a future release?
Hello,
The work on this issue is done. It only need to go through testing by our QA.
I can't really give an ETA for when to expect it but it should be soon if everything go right.
