Password Manager for Firefox extension for MacOS shows previous passkey

Password Manager for Firefox extension for MacOS shows previous passkey

avatar

Currently running 2026.2.0.5 but this issue has been there for sometime.

When I attempt to use passkey authentication, the last passkey challenge site is given.

If you close the tab and go back then it shows the current tab. It feels like the search criteria to match the passkey is not using the active tab.

Hi,

Is your Firefox extension connected to Devolutions Server, Devolutions Cloud or Remote Desktop Manager?

If you click on the extension icon in the navigation bar when the passkey list dialog is visible, does it update the passkey list dialog with the right passkeys list?

We will investigate your issue.

I'm using Devolutions Cloud.

If I click the extension icon, the drop down shows my entry for the password but does not update the passkey list.

If I cancel the process, and then cancel the attempt to use a QR code, the list updates with the current passkey.

Hi,

We have been able to reproduce the issue with some websites. A fix will be available in the next minor version.

We will keep you informed.

Hi,

Devolutions Password Manager 2026.2.1.3 for Firefox is now available and includes the fix for the passkey issue.

The update should be installed automatically. You can also manually check for updates by following these steps:

  1. Open the Firefox menu by clicking the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner.
  2. Select Extensions and themes. You can also use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + A on Windows or Linux.
  3. Click the gear icon next to Manage Your Extensions.
  4. Select Check for Updates from the drop-down menu. Any available add-on updates will be downloaded and installed automatically.

Best regards,

Thank you.

I worked with the new extension today and it appears to be addressed.
