Tab Group Bar is not present in RDM for MacOS

Where is the tab bar located in the 2026.2.2.1 release? I'm having trouble finding where to enable it? I don't see the option in the advanced User Interface settings either on how to enable the tab group bar at all times either.

The tab goup bar appears above the tab bar when you have tab groups. To create a tab group, right click a tab, go to Tab group -> New group

It should then display like this

Once you have at least 1 tab group, you can also do right click -> tab group -> move to, if you want to add a tab to a group or change its group.

Is there a way to create tab grooups so that when a session is opened, it opens in a particular tab group? I don't want to have to create tab groups and move to tab groups for every connection I want to manage within a tab.

It looks like the Windows verison has a tab group configuration in settings, but I don't see this on the MacOS version.

From MacOS, there is no option to set the Tab group name.

You're right, we do not have those settings on macOS. I will open a ticket to add them.
